The mission of SACRED Fest is to build community through the arts, culture, activism, and healing. There will be a market of delicious cultural foods, mural painting, poetry slam, drum circles, face painting, stilt walking activists, various performances, and art displays throughout the day. Human rights and peace organizations throughout DC will provide workshops on conflict resolution, restorative justice, and alternatives to violence-to name a few.
