Ally Way~
The daughter of a gospel choir director and a Duke Ellington School of the Arts singer and dancer; Way was harmonizing from the womb on! Way's musical ears began soaking in the spiritual sounds of the city between Washington, DC and East London becoming saturated with  the soul of a gospel choir.  Between over-the-top grade school musical theater productions and church choirs, Ally has been performing and learning a multitude of musical styles and song structures. Writing her first song at the age of four, Way has become a refined songwriter who can rejuvenate and relate to listeners of all ages. Satisfying her need for variety she's sang in New Orleans with jazz legends, she's had her feet dipped in the electronic music scene of Brooklyn in 2006, and most recently has featured in Solar Publishing's latest children's E.P. "Earth Day Everyday" in 2009.  Her debut LP "Ignorance versus Awareness" is turning heads and ears with her creative and solid gold sound.

Piano training for Ally began at age eight, followed by work with jazz guitarist Noble Jolley as a teen.  Ally went on to study classical voice at the University of Maryland, College Park with some of the world's most gifted instructors and conductors. Growing up on singer-songwriters Lauryn Hill, Jewel and Sarah McLaughlin, Ally  gravitated toward the power of simplicity. She continues to "Wow!"  audiences everywhere with her raw talents, cheerful persona and powerful lyrics. AK Way Publishing is taking off as Ally is beginning to partner with some of the strongest in music-television relations.  Her song-writing abilities continue to broaden in every way.  Look for Ally in the air waves, on every continent, and in the hearts of those who have seen the "Way" and richly treasure her many, many gifts.  Be sure to listen and support Ally Way's debut album coming soon!

You've only got to listen to the first minutes of Michelle Webb's guitar playing to hear how the passion for music lives within her. Recognized as an incredibly creative and innovative guitarists and improviser, Michelle Webb is a electrifying and original musician and composer. Webb was born in Jersey City, New Jersery. When she was five her late grandfather bought her first guitar. After many years in New Jersey, Webb's single mother packed up and the family of two and moved to Washington DC. Webb graduated from Duke Ellington Arts High School and took lessons and studied Jazz and Classical Guitar from famed local guitar teacher Tom Newman. At eighteen she moved to Ohio and attended Oberlin Conservatory. Returning to the East Coast area, Webb started to fall head long into the electronic music scene of New York City and soon became a hard house and techno DJ in the east village. Along with spinning records, Webb worked diligently on her compositional skills as well as her guitar chops along with grasping a solid knowledge of recording, engineering and sound design. Webb returned to Washington DC in 2008. A restless collaborator who constantly seeks the most diverse and personally challenging contexts for her music, Webb not only produces a large number of recorded projects, she performs frequently throughout the USA with several regular groupings as well as solo guitar concerts and concerts of freely improvised music with a host of diverse instrumentalists. Likewise, she has developed a highly individual style from an uncommonly varied range of influences that include traditional blues, East Asian, Classical North Indian and Middle Eastern music, free jazz, free improvisation, American steel-string guitar, rock, jazz fusion and 20th century classical. Webb has built an ever-mounting reputation as a very talented musician and composer.

Author and poet Monda Raquel Webb lives in Rockville, Maryland. She is a people eater.  She absolutely LOVES people watching and feeding off of the positive energy of unsuspecting "salt of the earth" type folk. So watch her!

Currently, Monda freelances as a Marketing and PR consultant for her company Latebloomer 2000, sells real estate as the market dictates, has appeared on HGTV as a featured Realtor® on the series Get It Sold, and pursues her passion, writing, in her free time, which inludes evenings, weekends and somewhere in between.  She's published a fiction novel, which has been adapted into a screenplay, a book of honest and compelling poetry and is working on her third book entitled, Life is Like A Soul Train Line -- you never know what dance you're going to do when you get to the front of the line, but with God holding your hand, you will be just...fine!

Three things to know about Monda:

1.  She is grateful

2. She is a truthseeker

3. She is convinced that EVERYONE should seek their passion, and touch it in some way, everyday. If not now, then when?
